How to connect your Shopify store to 3D Vikings

Connecting your Shopify store to 3D Vikings takes about five minutes. Once connected, new orders from your store flow straight into production — we 3D print and ship them directly to your customers, under your brand. Here is how to set it up.

Step 1 — Have a product ready in your Shopify store

If you are just getting started, add at least one product in your Shopify admin first — here is Shopify’s guide to adding products. Already selling? Your existing products will work.

Step 2 — Connect your store from the dashboard

Head over to your 3D Vikings dashboard and click the Connect Shopify badge. Enter your store handle — the part before .myshopify.com — and you will be redirected to Shopify to authorize the 3D Vikings app. Grant access, and you will land back on your dashboard with your store connected.

Step 3 — Sync your products

Open the Product Listings tab and click Sync Shopify — your products will be imported into 3D Vikings. Have products you fulfill yourself or through another service? Just ignore them; we only fulfill the ones you set up with us.

Step 4 — Add your 3D model and print settings

For each imported product, add your 3D model and choose the material, color, and infill percentage, plus any special instructions for printing. Submit it for review and we will analyze the model and send you a quote. Happy with the price? Accept it — from that moment, every new order for that product is automatically sent to us for fulfillment.

How pricing works

You only pay when an actual order comes in — no monthly fees, no upfront costs. Your customer pays you the retail price through your store’s checkout; we charge you a set amount for printing and shipping. Whatever is left over is your profit.
